Registration is open for our 2025 RBKD seminar!
We are pleased to announce that our next seminar with Shihan Oshiro will be held November 7-8, 2025 at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple in Mountain View, California (map), with an addition advanced black belt session on Sunday, November 9, at our San Mateo dojo.
If you would like to attend the seminar, first please review the full information sheet, which includes the detailed schedule and registration fees, then submit the online registration form. After registering, you will receive an invoice by email, which must be paid to complete your registration. Registrations received on or before September 30, 2025 will receive an early registration discount.
There is also a special opportunity for private small group lessons with Shihan Oshiro at our San Mateo dojo on November 10th, 11th, and 12th. To request a private lesson time, please submit the private lesson registration form.
RBKD Regional Seminars
RBKD seminars are an opportunity for students to study and practice intensively in a larger group setting.
Oshiro Dojo San Mateo hosts the RBKD Northern California regional seminar with Shihan Oshiro once a year, which is attended by students from around the country. These seminars are a great opportunity for students to study with many of Shihan Oshiro's senior students, as well as with Shihan Oshiro himself. The Northern California seminar is open to both RBKD members and non-members.
Other regional RBKD seminars are held across the country, including on the East Coast and Hawaii, as well as in Europe. Eligibility for participation and other logistics vary locally for each seminar.
